Cheers so much for this. My contract had just gone up to nearly £90 (including internet) without movies and was on verge of cancelling. Just rang up and sorted this. Now got everything for £65 a month after getting internet reduced at the same time.

Pleasure mate.

Do Sky still broadcast their HD channels in 720p?

It's a disgrace they charge on top of everything else just for a few HD channels that really don't look all that in HD.

I think it’s true HD now but I’m not certain.

Feel sorry for any poor bastard spending money on Sky / BT / Virgin. Absolute rip offs.

I have VM fibre broadband which is really good and I need it as I work from home. How is the sky high speed broadband?

Around 5 x slower than virgins fastest broadband.

I had Virgin 100mb broadband for ages, then moved to Sky fibre max (65mb?) and don’t really notice any difference.

They are both both a bit crap with WiFi speeds, though, in my experience.

Ideal thread for me at the moment. I really need some assistance. I don't take that many services and my package is well over £100.

I need decent broadband for work (I work from home, remotely from my main server). I've left it with Sky to cancel contract, 31 days notice, but really I just want someone sensible to work through it with.

Spotted this thread when I was looking for something else and decided to give them a call ...   said I need to reduce my payments or I may have to cancel ..

Got a reduction of about 15% without much fuss at all and a free film t'boot as I'm now a gold member (oo err!) ...   very pleased ...   well done you lot !!   :)

I currently pay £69.99 a month for Sky Sports, Entertainment, Broadband, Line Rental, Talk, Box Sets, Cinema etc.... don't have Sky Q or fibre or BT sport.
