I actually think, watching us ..... it’s like the great escape year. We play well, however simple things hurt us, we don’t get the run of the green etc

We’re not that far away from making that next step

A wrong broken record, our set piece defending has substantially improved since switching to that.

It did initially, but more recently it has been an issue.

N'didi has been a bit off it. Why not Choudhury and Vards both on at half-time?

Maybe that’s why he picked Mendy ahead of him..?

Looking at the squad, the ages of those players shows how he wants to build for the future.

I've not been the biggest Puel fan at all, but he's winning me over a bit here.

Go out and spend loads on a young striker over Summer and it's a team in 2/3 years that could go places.

Better team against united and Spurs

3rd and 4th in league

and we are behind in this and lost the other one mainly because we haven’t a striker in form

not sure the manager is to blame for that

he isn't

with a couple of decent, multi-talented strikers we'd be a very good side.

unfortunately we have a very out of form Vardy (he's having plenty of chances and can't bury them) and everything past that is doggo, really.

aside from that we play good football and create plenty of chances.

if we had two goal-scoring strikers (or even one who was burying chances) nobody would be calling for Puel.

Not been good this season it has to be said

Think he’s improved alongside Evans (who is also improving with a run of games). Next season will be interesting though!

Some good performances but sloppy in the final attack and unfortunate to be trailing.

Grey not a striker but we knew that months ago, midfield  creating more opportunities.
