Guest MattP Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 I thought he looked good but it's astonishing how fans want to buy someone on 90 minutes yet also go mad when anyone says someone might not be good enough after just 3/4 games. Maybe some balance needed.
CloudFox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Found it quite amusing whenever Ndidi left the ball for him: "nope, you're better at this - I'll look after the tackling lad, you drive the play forward, off you pop." Look forward to seeing more of him.
CloudFox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 "He might be a bit short of confidence after Monaco's season so far..." *Tries a volley from the corner flag that almost catches out Lloris* ?
danny2997 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 The main positive I see going into future games was his ability to play that one-two with Ricardo for the set up to our goal. Spurs were sitting very far back at that point and indicates that maybe we will be able to break down teams who surrender possession now. Here's hoping that's the case so we can get some more of the games we should be winning over the line.
StriderHiryu Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 A class above today. Put in tackles, drove forward assisted the goal. Looks the player we thought Silva was going to be. Sign him up!
jayfox26 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Give Monaco £40m plus any of slimani, Iheancho and silva (all 3 if they want them). Do they want Ghezzal back as well?
desertfox2 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Great debut. Looking forward to seeing if he is what we have been missing against more compact sides.
southfox66 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 If he keeps playing that well no doubt a decent premier side will sign him in the summer

Playing alongside Mendy means there's no one to leave it to but Tielemans instantly made Ndidi better because they each had their job to do.
lee7 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Composed and strong on the ball! Looks like he has an eye for a pass. If we can get him the ball with a bit of time and space he could provide the service vardy has been lacking all season.
Guest nathan. Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Way to good for us im afraid. Monaco have just put him in the shop window for the big boys.
foxfanazer Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Big debut that and he didn't disappoint. Get Hamza in there as well
Guest Cujek Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Did alright, what you would expect for someone worth 25 million, won't be here next year, let's hope he keeps us up.
murphy Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Shows what a difference a player that can get his head up and play that forward pass early makes to this team. Don't get too attached to him, I think he'll going in the summer unfortunately, but he, or someone like him is exactly what we need.
Deeg67 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 N’didii looked far better with Tielmans next to him, even on the ball. It’s no surprise, he balances out the midfield tremendously. To be fair, Mendy would surely have looked much better next to Tielmans too.
Fox 4 Life Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 He will be thinking what more do I need to do for these clowns
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Quality. Exactly the type of player we should have looked to sign after we won the league. You can generally see it in a player early doors. This guy has the lot.
Hammo Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Excellent debut. We need his quality to break down teams in our next five home games. Though of course we also need players who can finish what he starts. Two weeks on the training ground to sort that out...
Bournemouthfox10 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Tielemans can play football! we will struggle to sign him in the summer and that’s based on one performance. i will be attending palace at home and am very excited to watch him on the ball!

It is so obvious if you think about it - young players, like any young professionals, need to be given one job to do, and get really ****ing good at doing it before you ask more of them. Give them too much responsibility and expect too much at once and they're bound to struggle or underwhelm. Ndidi got back to doing what he's good at, and hey presto, he's the Wilf we all know and love.
