That was our analysis tonight. What’s the point? We’re 7 games without a win, fan disgruntlement, can’t stop conceding and can’t seem to score. Yet, that’s all the analysis they do.

I’ve tuned in a few times, hoping for some sort of analysis of why we’re poor, or what we’d need to do to improve.

Not the point really, it would nice of them to do their job and at least briefly analyse the problems that might have caused us be in such a state. When it’s Man Utd, Newcastle etc, we get that. It’s like they just expect us to be this bad ‘because it’s Leicester’. Was even the case when we got relegated with top 6 players.

 

The nose dive from this club over the past 3 years warrants attention. We shouldn’t expect to be so far behind the likes of Fulham, Palace, Bournemouth, Brentford, Forest. These are nothing clubs and it wasn’t an inevitability.

TBH they didn’t seem to do much talk on any of the teams that lost particularly.

 

Not sure Brentford or West Ham got even a passing comment .

Amazed that people still watch this garbage. Lineker's final show can't come soon enough. Which rent-a-pundits were on tonight? Murphy and Keown? Or a special helping of Deeney and Ashley Williams? It's a shadow of a once-great programme.

Why was the challenge on Soumare not a penalty, they showed reply’s of it in game and highlights but no one mentioned anything.

A shoulder to shoulder challenge is fair when both players are running along side each other and contesting the ball, a shoulder challenge when a player doesn’t look at the ball but just targets the player having to change direction in order to do so is taking a player out which is a foul and as it was in the box it’s a penalty no?

For sure, it was 0:1 at the time potentially that gets us back in the game but just can’t understand why it wasn’t/ hasn’t been discussed therefore we won’t get to hear on ref watch why they didn’t give.

We might be out of our depth in the Prem this season. But they'll always be out of their depth if they ever need to come up with anything useful/analytical to say.

First of a 5 game deal ITV have got with Sky to show EFL games this season plus the league cup .

Next one is Boro v Sunderland soon .

I did feel it felt a bit rushed as it can be at times .

 

Danny Murphy was grinning from ear to ear like a fan wasn’t he about Liverpool.

For 37 “shots” they didn’t seem to have many clear chances tbh .

I think this shows that mainly pundits know so little of the teams outside the usual top sides. Lineker as host could say more but has to move the show along.
