Before people get excited.......

This is “up to” £200m over 3 years..........

it will include wages, agent fees signing on fees etc..........

Break it down, and even if it is true, it will be around £50m a season on actual transfer fees, probably split to about £35m each summer window and £15m each winter window..........

Obviously it could be topped up by outgoing transfer fees, but does it sound so impressive now??............

got some good young players

if BR can push them on the squad doesn't need huge investment.

Get rid of the old crap, and develop the youth with 2 or 3 solid signings

Absolutely, I totally agree.

I was just pointing out that people shouldn’t be expecting a huge pot of money like this article is making it sound in the headline.

And as for Callum Wilson at £40m, that would probably be a whole summers transfer budget on one player, assuming we don’t make any major sales.

If were going to spend £40 Million on Callum Wilson why not try for Timo Werner who is apprently available to go for around this figure?

Perfect replacement for Vardy too.

1. I do like Wilson.

2. Yes I am aware some top teams have been sniffing around Timo.

Wilson is proven at this level so is risk free imo

If Chilly goes, more likely to have £100 m kitty. Tielman first please, replacement left back, plus striker. Wilson £40m surely based on performance/appearances, so may be quite a lot less up front. Benko back asap please.

Will be really interesting to see if Brenda has a fresh look at loanees and Slim/Silva. Or has the boat sailed on these?

Chilwell needs to stay

Did you see the Liverpool game last night?  Trent knows how to put a sweet cross in and can do it so consitently, Chilwell is a fair bit below that level

You wouldn't be referring to our legendary title winning players, would you?

We have players out on loan or not playing, but have proven records elsewhere or have potential that puel with his negative style didn’t allow to develop.

Nacho and silva and the likes could be like new signings under a manager willing to invest time and effort in them, it will be interesting to see how the manager can get the players playing before we waste money yet again

Rodgers may work miracles but I doubt he can make Silva strong and fast enough for PL football.

Rondon was a target last summer, can't see us going in for him again now though

A few people on here said they'd like him. If he was a target why did we not sign a striker in January.
