Tanya Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 The balls on Brendan.... Curious how this will go. Up the Foxes
rachhere Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 He hinted at bringing back Wes in his press conference. Seeing we have such an abundance of good CBs both in the first team squad, and also with Benkovic coming here in the summer, plus great prospects in the U23s, this makes so much sense.
Alex_LCFC Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 If puel Had done this everyone would be going mad ?, interesting hope it plays off
FireFox Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Chilwell and Ricardo being played in their best positions. I am curious though as to how the front 3 line up.
Lesterlad Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Oh no don’t tell me we will have a Brendon our thread if we lose

FrankieADZ Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 decent line up that, I thught the line up was more a 3-4-2-1
lgfualol Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 This is just a formation change to shoehorn Morgan in I reckon. Even with 3 at the back you need all defenders to be able to help build up play and Morgan's toe pokes dont seem very suitable. Liking the rest of it however.

RutlanderFox Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Morgan’s lack of pace will be less exposed with 2 cbs alongside him rather than 1 even though Maguire and Evans aren’t exactly blessed themselves. So you could argue for the same reasons that it will benefit them too

He had (in the main) been having a reasonable season up until he was dropped
Crinklyfox Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Someone has to match up with Deeney's strength and Wes is probably the best equipped. Neither of them are quick so pace isn't a problem.
49er Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 More licence for Ricardo and Chilwell to bomb forward. Also, Maguire can come more into the midfield and spray the ball around
Will1981 Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Schmeichel Evans -- Morgan -- Maguire Ricardo -- Ndidi -- Tielemans -- Chilwell Barnes -- Maddison Vardy.

mozartfox Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Brave. That back 3 would struggle in a Walking Football Team. Oh well let’s wait and see.
Mehrez Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Interesting, this is a sign of what to come next season imo, have been wondering how he’s going to set the defence up with Benkovic back who he’ll definitely want to play, the reports of him wanting Boyata also make more sense with a back 3
Deeg67 Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Very political move, making sure Morgan plays in his first match as manager.
