Cripes, wtf is going on in my head? I think I'll only start to chill (a little) and perhaps believe if we go 2 up. I see us as too damned fragile at the moment

Perfectly normal, no worries.  The shrinks call it Liverpool Syndrome.

If they only play one up front (Mitrovic) then no need for 3 centre backs this time.

Part of the point was also to try and get more support around Vardy.

Fulham are poor, but need to get a result so have to come out a bit. Therefore, should be ripe for plucking.

I would go 442 for this one

Kasper

Ricardo

Evans

Maguire

Chilwell

Ndid

Tielemans

Gray

Barnes

Vardy

Nacho

Maddison needs a good kick up the backside. he is too often slow on the ball, by playing with speed down the flanks, a bit of support for Vardy (if fit), tielemans ability to pass forwards we should tear this lot apart.

This set up would give us pace both through the middle and down the flanks, with overlap support from the full backs, neither of which are exactly slouches either we should scare them to death. (one proviso here is that that they are drilled not to both go at the same time)

If Nacho got a decent run out and a goal it would do his confidence wonders. Ditto for Barnes, once he gets his first one there could be no stopping him

... a 4- 4 - 1 - 1, with Maddison behind Vardy.

Simpson comes in and Ricardo moves up to play right wing. He is wasted at Right Back and has the intelligence to make the runs and deliveries to the forwards.

So long as we do not ask Simpson to play the overlapping full back and holds his position in the back four, Chilwell can bomb up the pitch and we will still have cover with Simpson effectively making a back three.

Teams are now sitting and we are pushing more players forward to break them down. When we lose the ball we have had players (taking one for the team) as we have no cover with both fullbacks out of position and unable to get back. Too many yellow cards have been issued and I would like Rodgers to address the back four as priority.

I feel the use of Maddison as support to Vardy (the Shinji role) would help Vardy.

Dissappointing for Gray but the competition for places in that position is now a major problem for him. With Albrighton out until next season he may still get a chance to impress the new manager.

I think its worth trying the 3-4-3 again with slightly different personnel.

Agree we must give Soyoncu a chance. Playing Wes is pointless now.

....would not want to play Gray on the left.

How about Maddison with a free role behind Nacho and Barnes upfront. I feel that they would gel and Nacho would be inclined to play a secondary role to Barnes direct running.

We can’t play 3 central defenders at home surely?

Attacking 4-4-2 please let’s have a right good go at them

3 centre backs isn't necessarily negative or defensive. It's our mentality and approach that determine that, not the formation. Burnley play 4-4-2 most weeks and they're one of the most negative, defensive teams about.

I think Fulham are definitely gone. What we achieved in the Great Escape was nothing short of a miracle. I believe Fulham are in an even worse position with 9 matches to play.

As long as it's mathematically possible it's not over, even if their chances are slim to say the least. I'm not expecting an easy game.

Ndidi was our best player v Watford - absolutely zero chance he’ll be dropped.
