This is the sort of game a young side can really mess up if they don’t take it seriously

Just like Newport away when an experienced side didn't take it seriously, but at least we have a decent manager now

I hope we put in a performance worthy of the team and come away with a win but things could go the other way if Huddersfield play with nothing to lose now they are down.

Huddersfield will be released from pressure and able, to an extent, enjoy the game. They will be much improved.

Sadly for Huddersfield, man for man they are the second worst team ever to grace the premier league and even a vast improvement would still render them absolute utter shyte.

If we play at 35%/of our capaciry, it'll be The easiest three points we'll ever bag at this level

Thankfully the players and coaching staff will be approaching it rather more seriously than that. It's dangerous for any team in this division to turn up at a game with that sort of attitude, let alone us. We've dropped points to Burnley, Cardiff, Brighton, Fulham, Palace and Southampton already this season and we lost away at a mid-table League Two team. I imagine their players found getting relegated in March thoroughly humiliating and will want to give their home supporters a response. It's definitely a game we should be looking to win but if we take it for granted and saunter into Huddersfield sneering at how pathetic they are, we'll be opening the door for them to potentially make us look very silly.

I think this will be a routine win. Our team looks motivated and like they still want to win instead of being on the beach, and 7th place is still up for grabs. On top of this there are many rumours that the new Huddersfield manager has already lost the dressing room and they may well be looking to replace him at the end of the season:

They should rehire Wagner.

They probably should, but I doubt he will want to return. The problem for them is that they punched so far above their weight it was unbelievable, almost on an LCFC level. They were promoted with negative goal difference and didn't score a goal in the play-off semi finals or final to go up. Then miraculously they stayed up despite hardly scoring any goals... how no one knows. I personally don't think we will see them return to the Premier League within our life times as even the Championship is getting ridiculous these days. Going for a young up and coming coach was a good idea and clearly modeled off the success of Daniel Farke at Norwich, but Norwich is a much better run club with better infrastructure. Wagner could probably get a gig like Fulham, which would give him a much better long term opportunity.

One of those where the relegated team's players have nothing to play for other than pride, renewed contracts or to advertise themselves to potential future clubs. They will play without that extra chip on their shoulder in the form of pressure and we have to watch out for that to keep our European aspirations intact.

We should win this relatively comfortably but just something to keep an eye out for!

Predicting a 2-0 away win to LCFC.

Wagner could walk into most lower level Bundesliga outfits tbh. Doubt he will return to the Championship

They've known for ages they're going down. Did they not effectively say they were getting Siewert in for the Championship? I can't see much changing here.

I'm confident.

0-3.
