UniFox21 Posted 2 July 2020 Posted 2 July 2020 Son absolutely playing for the sending off there, little shit.
don_danbury Posted 2 July 2020 Posted 2 July 2020 isnt it because of wolves that this stupid decision exists? the handball goal that boly scored 2

One decision doesn't make Wolves level with us. There will be plenty of examples of opposition scoring against Wolves which get ruled out so Wolves don't lose the game. When?!?! There's never been another one in any of our matches since first game of the season and pretty certain Wolves haven't had any goals against them disallowed for it either Edited 2 July 2020 by tickler28

There have only been a handful (no pun intended) of goals disallowed for handball all season so wouldn't be hard to tell me.....there have been none in any of our games since the 1st match

I like puns, keep them in.

foxes_rule1978 Posted 2 July 2020 Posted 2 July 2020 (edited) The ball hitting the hand thing before you score is ridiculous but it is the one rule that has been very consistent because there aren’t grey areas. Edited 2 July 2020 by foxes_rule1978
Super_horns Posted 2 July 2020 Posted 2 July 2020 Trouble is had that been given you'd have Chris Wilder complaining how the rule wasn't enforced but yes it's rather petty. Daft rule that doesn't help anyone or improve the game.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 2 July 2020 Posted 2 July 2020 Spurs are whiney cvnts aren’t they Come watch a Leicester game if you want to see truly unfair decisions 4

That would be impossible to work out but I think we've benefited (Son offside, Nacho onside, Boly handball, offside Wolves goal) as much as we've lost out.....penalty decisions!!!
Nuneatonfox in Manchester Posted 2 July 2020 Posted 2 July 2020 The rule becomes irrelevant when the handball is a direct result of a foul. If you are playing advantage then you discount the foul and the following HB surely. Spurs have been penalised because Moura was fouled And they didn’t even get the free kick.
RowlattsFox Posted 2 July 2020 Posted 2 July 2020 Too much to ask for some common sense with handball? Sick of seeing the "wolves would have beaten us if the handball rule wasn't there" no they would have gone 1-0 up, noone knows what would have happened after that. You can't have different rules for attackers and defenders, bizarre. 1 1
UniFox21 Posted 2 July 2020 Posted 2 July 2020 Funny that Redknapp's desire to use common sense has appeared for a Spurs issue
RowlattsFox Posted 2 July 2020 Posted 2 July 2020 Still not convinced it's hit his arm Thought there was some rule for where it hits you on the arm? The t shirt rule or something, or is that just for defenders too.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 2 July 2020 Posted 2 July 2020 VAR works when there aren’t grey areas, in which it is up to a human to make the call. Therefore fouls and handballs that result in penalties are still difficult to get 100% with var. But offsides and the handball rule before a goal are correct near 99% of the time. It is those grey areas where we have fell foul of and not been getting many decisions. 1

Leicester_Loyal Posted 2 July 2020 Posted 2 July 2020 VAR should only be used for offside IMO. Let the ref make the calls for penalties and handballs.
