S'ton sold their soul to Liverpool and have been a turd which won't flush for three seasons.

Take it as abit of a warning to us though, similarly sized Club/Stadium, decent new training ground. You can't always rely on recruitment, clubs like Man City don't just spend £60m on players for their squad to make theirselves stronger, they do it to also weaken the competition.

I wouldn't say they sold their soul. You can't keep players that don't want to be there and want a big move. You just have to get the best deal you can and try to reinvest well.

What annoyed me most about Goober's post and that example of commentary here is that we're normalising it.

We're calling it clever, calling it gamesmanship, implying that it's natural for a player to do that in that situation. It isn't. It's cheating.

Maddison got absolutely hammered on here for doing it previously but only really because it got him cautioned, if it got him a pen people wouldn't moan.

Everyone, fans of every club need to start being harder on their own players for simulation. Liverpool fans, if they took the Anfield goggles off they'd have to admit it was a dive all day long, they could turn on Mane and give him a ripping for it but they won't and we'll all go on. They're so protective and defensive of Salah, they've always got an excuse for all his dives. What's wrong with admitting that he's a great player and they love him but still wishing he wouldn't dive.

As long as its continuously normalised as a viable tactic it'll keep happening.

It's the lack of a hammering from the media and the public that needs changing as you mentioned.

It's the lack of bloody consistency, if that's a penalty, then we should be seeing one in most games. Sick of it being a rule for one and another for the other team.

I know we have the varying interpretation of the rules, but it needs sorting.

Clear and obvious error is becoming a laughing stock. Use the on field screen to have a look again and talk through the situation.

The original bounce they got may have saved them last season but Southampton are still not very good under Hasenhuttl.

Still think he won’t see out the season

Hardly a comment worth calling out.

If anyone had said the opposite you'd be wondering what they'd been smoking. Tammy had never really played in the prem and was/is unproven. Kane manages to shit his way into 20 odd goals every year. Tammy has done well in the first 8, let's see if he can carry it on

Glenn Hoddle? Cannot see him outscoring Kane tbh. Kane claimed 1 yesterday and they lost 3-0

So mane’s is a penalty but this is not?

How has Bournemouth got on good terms with Atkinson? He is normally such a homie ref...

My favourite part of that is when the ball is clearly going out when he decides to trip over the Bournemouth player

Hoping Man City get the dodgiest of all penalties or a comedy own goal late on.

Why say that now look what has happened

This is frankly retarded, you need a word with yourself mate, not anyone else.

This wasn't a case of Mane going to ground because he was legitimately fouled and knowing the ref wouldn't give anything if he didn't.

This was a serial diver jumping hilariously badly to the floor because he felt the slightest touch on his leg.

It was 1000% simulation.

Nearly every player in the league does it. Vardy and Madders have done it in numerous times in the past. Crying and calling him a dirty cheat is embarrassing and hypocritical, tbh.
