Don’t think levy will be eyeing Brendan up personally. I reckon it’s Jose or Rafa.

He wouldn't pay the compo anyway. Plenty of managers at the job centre.

Bloody hope they don't come for Brendan

It isn't that attractive a job right now, surely? Unsettled players, some openly admitting they're winding contracts down, a notoriously tight chairman, paying off the stadium. Rodgers would be mad to even sniff at any offer.

It'll be someone out of work.

On the face of it it looks a but hasty but they're in dreadful form and seems like a lot of turmoil behind the scenes. Hope they go for BR and he tells them to piss off

They've been poor this season but I can't see how this is Poch's fault, they desperately needed investment in the squad in the summer and once again they didn't. Well United must be rubbing their hands there problems maybe resolved soon... Eddie Howe I think is Tottenham's man.

That's madness unless they've a suitable name lined up.

United would be very wise to move for him, he's shown he can do well with his hands practically tied.

Think that was always their plan.

Yep. Some decent ones too. As good as any time to get rid and start again - weird timing with the international break though, thought they’d have done it last week.

They have that brand new stadium and some decent players, but a lot of dead wood that needs clearing out.  They need someone who wants a project and doesn't mind grinding rather than splashing large sums

But the more money is floating around in the league, the more you have to spend as the other teams snap at your heels, as per this year. The disparity between the clubs in the top 6 and the rest, bar the top 2, isn't as stark, partly because big sides have bought badly, or, in spurs case, bought rarely. Squads can go stale.

I’m waiting for David Moyes to release his usual statement saying he’s “ready to return to the Premier League” 😂
