VIKTOR-LE5 Posted 29 May 2019 Posted 29 May 2019 Madders, not gonna happen, like Chilwell not this season.
mozartfox Posted 29 May 2019 Posted 29 May 2019 Daniel Levy does not like spending money. Spuds missed out on Grielish for not meeting the Villa valuation. This would be a repeat scenario. Just tell them 70M and the silence would be deafening from White Cock Lane.

AjcW Posted 30 May 2019 Posted 30 May 2019 Any of the ITK’s know if there’s been any whispers about Gray leaving? He’s been spending a lot of time with his agent, especially towards the end of the season, and today he’s off somewhere else with him.... Obviously could be nothing but I’m pretty sure there’s meant to be an U21 training camp, so being released from that would be an indicator of needing to go somewhere of importance ? @themightyfin @ramadaone @LinekersApples
LinekersApples Posted 30 May 2019 Posted 30 May 2019 No, Haven't heard a thing, but Bournemouth are touting Ibe and BR is a fan. He has a year left on contract. They were interested in Gray previously. Both players could potentially do with a fresh start. Not a million miles apart in value. Gray younger and on a bigger wage (about 15k a week more) with 2 years left on contract. Could be room for a deal??

But it might be just what we need.

Seems harmless, more of a loss/loss rather than a win/win, but you could be right, fresh starts, etc.

That would leave us with two newbies, Barnes, who in my opinion has a much higher ceiling than Gray, and Albrighton, who signed a new deal last season. We don't need more than four with no European football.
