Very happy for Kante. A brilliant professional and from his time with us was clear that he should be winning multiple medals.  By my count he's up to 6 now? With another 5 or 6 runners up medals.

 

Great career so far.

Even though it was only for a season, what an honour it is to have had the best player to ever play in his position. Who'd have thought when he signed for us he'd go on to win the bloody lot :wub:

Ben will defo have a CL clause which means we get a bonus for tonight. NG’s deal was inflated to 32m so I doubt we managed to get any win bonus clauses in addition.  If there was a CL one then we probably just fall into the period before the five years ends and we get paid out.

Hasn't won the League Cup yet

Yes, you're right. Got confused with the Europa League! Somehow, I don't think he'll be having too many sleepless nights over the League Cup. I also forgot about the Charity Shield. That must be a real bugbear.
