Chris Wood just rifled a corker in for Burnley.

I’ve always thought we let him go prematurely. Great in the air and a natural plan b, but also very handy with his feet and a finisher and a half.

I recall sitting next to his parents at Bristol City. Think it might have been his debut and he scored a hattrick in a 5-0 win. Always will have a soft spot for him.

Hmmm. I'd argue the move was the right thing for all parties at the time.

I'd have him back now though. Terrific competitor.

Almost - it was his 3rd match and the result was 4-0 :)

Always liked Paul Gallagher, got a lot of undeserved criticism on here but he was a good player for the level we were at at the time. Always played with a smile on his face.

Funny how your memory exaggerates things!

Hattrrick was v Huddersfield on debut ?? At home. 6-0?
That result at Ashton gate was brilliant living down in Bristol. I used to get a lot of shit from Bristol city fans so I remember it fondly lol  I remember Matty James scoring too

Nope - he scored 2 against 'Uddersfield, and it was 6-1.

Yes and all the more fun as Bristol City were one of his many previous loan clubs as well. Matty James scored a really nice goal for the 4th. A bit of a collectors item.

After many false starts he's become a decent Premier league striker.

Enjoyed that! And the music. Wish he would visit the Chelsea dressing room before the final tomorrow.

It's a track from Selected Ambient Works 2 by Aphex Twin. A personal favorite of mine.

Like Big Nige a genius.
