The longer this goes on, the more I think that it isn't happening this window. If Manchester United valued him at our price, or they were absolutely desperate, they would have agreed to a deal by now. Instead, it appears that they are hoping we will drop the asking price to match their valuation, which, knowing our owners, is never going to happen.

I think if a deal was to be done, it would have and should have been done by now. He's played 3 games in pre season for us and we've next to no time to get a replacement in and integrate them into the squad. They know the asking price, they've got the money and they've had plenty of time to submit an acceptable offer.
