If Manchester United valued him at our price, or they were absolutely desperate, they would have agreed to a deal by now. Instead, it appears that they are hoping we will drop the asking price to match their valuation, which, knowing our owners, is never going to happen.

He's played 3 games in pre season for us and we've next to no time to get a replacement in and integrate them into the squad. They know the asking price, they've got the money and they've had plenty of time to submit an acceptable offer.
