VIKTOR-LE5 Posted 5 August 2019 Posted 5 August 2019 In a bit, and don't let the door hit you in the slabhead on your way out.
themightyfin Posted 5 August 2019 Posted 5 August 2019 Good luck Harry. If that's his dream move then fair play. Great player and hope he goes onto be successful for the rest of his career. Go and prove those doubters wrong Harry. Worth every penny in today's market in my opinion.
Guest Posted 5 August 2019 Posted 5 August 2019 I'm glad that we planned ahead and got our replacement in last year.

Bert Posted 5 August 2019 Posted 5 August 2019 Wish him all the best. Great with the ball at his feet and class in the air. But gets turned easily and can drift out of position. Good deal for both clubs. Hard to replace but not irreplaceable.
lgfualol Posted 5 August 2019 Posted 5 August 2019 6 years with the option for 1 more. Not bad for Maguire. Great fee for us. Good luck Slabbers.
RumbleFox Posted 5 August 2019 Posted 5 August 2019 Good luck to him. Always seemed a good guy and was a great player for us. No hard feelings from me at all. X

indierich06 Posted 5 August 2019 Posted 5 August 2019 It's a shame that when they're 6th/7th in the league come Christmas, all those 'loyal' United fans who are raving about him now will be slagging him off no end and calling for the manager's head.
RowlattsFox Posted 5 August 2019 Posted 5 August 2019 Yes he's not worth the money but he is still a very good player and we certainly worse off without him, for now at least. He's a modern defender so will make the odd mistake and I think you need to be clever with the players you have around him. In a team that might dominate possession a lot he will be good. Used us for career development, but that's fine, that's the way it is. We are kidding ourselves if we think players won't leave to join the likes of United. Don't have any anger towards him and hope we don't abuse him when he returns but he's just another player now.
StriderHiryu Posted 5 August 2019 Posted 5 August 2019 He signed a 6 year contract with an option for one more! That is pretty mental from Man U and shows you how desperate they were for him. Nice of him to say some nice words about us. Good luck to him, though hopefully not against us. Overall I think the club handled everything very well. Onward and upwards!
RoboFox Posted 5 August 2019 Posted 5 August 2019 Good luck to him, he's been fantastic for us and his attitude during the entire transfer saga has been admirable. But f**k me, at £80m we've got the deal of the century. Credit to those at the club who have blagged that.
goose2010 Posted 5 August 2019 Posted 5 August 2019 Good luck to him, always gave it his all for us. I hope he goes on to be a world class defender for England's sake now.
copunk Posted 5 August 2019 Posted 5 August 2019 All the best, was a good player for us and a cracking professional, but the money we got is obscene, hopefully invest that into another winger and we will be sound, genuinely think soyuncu should be given the time and chance, felt he had a decent game on friday night
