Luxembourgs 1st goal was exactly like I expect we would concede

Long ball from Luxembourgs keeper in behind, goalkeeper and left back with a shocker defending it

A shame he slowed up for just a second running back thinking they would get it (they should), had to try and throw himself in the way of the shot and went into the post, thankfully got up fine and carried on playing

Under, playing on their right wing, scored from the penalty spot.

Has the penalty spot changed position!?

Yes it has Stan. It was a majestic hit from that distance. You could see Under glance at Cags afterwards, a knowing look that told a story of the unjust pain of both of them being shunned by Pep Brendiola.

Fair play. Did they reveal a message on their shirts?

Yeah. Cags has F on the front, and U on the back. And Under had B and R. But it turns out FUBR is QAnon terminology for an insurrection and now they've been detained by NATO. Good match otherwise.

From watching the match it didn't appear to have caused him any issues in the rest of the half :dunno:

Sometimes the effects aren't immediate

Half time with the drop off in adrenaline and stiffening up of joints may have looked different ?

Yep, fair clunked the goal post. That's going to hurt. He's quick isn't he? A bit slow off the mark to see the danger but it was a valiant effort to stop the goal.

Erm  lack of match fitness anyone? :dunno:

Would seem the logical answer to me.

Combined with the fact he's not that good.

He was horrendous for them in the last European Championships.

But, as with every player, because he doesn't play for us atm he's suddenly the answer to our problems.

Horrendous in a horrendous style.

Play to his strengths, play to the strengths of the majority of our players and I’m sure there would be an upturn.

But nah, it’s not in this new found philosophy or the way to play football is it.
