Koke Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 Winning again at Stamford Bridge like last season maybe? They're not looking too good.
Pliskin Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 Not wanting to get too ahead, but they look really poor. I’d say they don’t look as comfortable as Wolves did today. I’d be expecting we go theirs and take something from the game.
Fox92 Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 Honestly I’ll be disappointed if we lose. Go for a point.
Shane Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 We don’t need 2 CDM’s against this lot. They’re so toothless in attack
NewquayFox Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 I think Lampard will beat Solskjaer in the sack race, gone by Christmas...
HybridFox Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 We have to be looking to beat them. As frustrating as we were today
Suzie the Fox Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 Would be happy with a draw away from home against a top 6 club. But if the players are more upto scratch than they were today and based on Chelsea's performance v Man Utd we could quite conceivably win.
Stadt Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 They play in the European Super Cup in midweek so that combined with a terrible start against United means that we’ll lose comfortably
murphy Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 I don't like the fact that they got hammered today. They will be looking for a reaction next week.

Wolves showed no real ill effects of their trip this week, and Chelsea outplayed us final game of last season 2 days after going 120 minutes with Frankfurt in the Europa League. Draw would be a good result.

FLAN Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 We had 1 shot on target today but we can easily turn Chelsea over away from home?
davieG Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 Someone will need to get their shooting boots on because at the moment we're firing blanks. Vardy hardly getting a look in still and the support strikers / AMs are looking toothless.
Harry96 Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 No doubt they’ll turn up vs today after that result
Silva Fox Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 Need a good start, get the fans on their backs.
TheSomersetFox Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 Winnable. Their midfield is class but up top they're really short and their centre halves are bang average. Would take a point now tho

sdb Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 They'll have a few big names back for next week, Kante included.

Huh! just said we need someone to up their shooting surely a valid point when we've just had one shot on target, so yes we did struggle today to score, elsewhere we were ok. FFS!.
FoxOfMelton Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 Based on how they just played against United, we can definitely do them if we actually take our chances.
Tuna Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 Lampard's homecoming party...lets make sure it's an uncomfortable one for him. Would be delighted to come back from there with a point.
adejo92 Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 I don't think too much attention should be paid to Chelsea's defeat today. Whilst admittedly they did look poor overall, they could easily have found themselves ahead from the first half and their woe's all began with Zouma's clumsy tackle - Definitely a player for Vardy to exploit next week. Chelsea still have a very strong team with Kante likely starting at full fitness next week. I fear that someone like Giroud will exploit us aerially should he play and then the pace of Abraham could well cause us problems should they cut our back line as easily as Wolves did. I have no doubt that Chelsea will be a completely different outfit next week at home to us than they were today away at Old Trafford. With that being said, if we can play a more attacking style of football, and make the very few chances we will get count - We certainly have the ability to come away with some points.
Fox_in_a_Box Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 If we play 4-3-3 I'd be confident of getting a result. I'm not sold on the weird diamond with two DMs we played today, was no width and we looked much better when Barnes came on. Not sure what BR was thinking tbh.
