So so pleased that i witnessed that and what a magical journey home and doesnt the Stella taste so much better, even at 1 oclock in the morning WHAT A NIGHT!! Still buzzing Fair play to any Saints fan who stayed until the end of that. I would have been long gone if we'd been getting battered like that!

aefevans Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 In a season that’s not going quite how I wanted, I took comfort in our vague relevance by having the heaviest defeat so far this season, and now we don’t even have that. Fuming.

David Hankey Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Magnificent display of ruthless attacking football. Every school should be sent a copy for kids to learn from. It was an outstanding performance and will go down in the history of the Club as one of the best ever games from an attacking angle and how goals should be taken. Well done to all at Leicester City on what will be a very poignant weekend. This one had got to be for Vichai.
Mike Oxlong Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Rodgers out if we only win by 5 next time out

All round bizarre views from just about everyone. The Scottish bloke at the end said that players should go against the coaches wishes tactically sometimes! Jesus Christ, it's not 5-aside mate...
Nalis Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Just watched the extended highlights, looks like it could have been 2-13...
brookfox Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 And I thought Jack Rodwell signing for Roma was going to be the most ridiculous football story of the weekend!
Nalis Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Also, I love Evans' mentality of going for the throat when we were 6-0 up. Two things that I love to see in football, one is an underdog winning and the other is a hammering. Remember the bizarre notion from the likes of Cannavaro that Germany should have gone easy when the world cup semi final was won vs Brazil in 2014. Fvck that shit.
Foxhateram Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 If anyone is able to get a Leicester mercury and send it to me in Devon. I'd be so so happy.
cambridgefox Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 It’s official My Mrs is getting plssed off with me now. ” Stop telling me to sssshhhh when the BBC sport comes on,you’ve seen the same thing 3 times now” ” You’re shit aaahhh” probably isn’t the mature response for a 48 year old. Good news she has gone out for the day and won’t be back until 7👍

Collymore Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 On the way home in the car I did the score prediction with my son that we always do before the game and he usually goes for ridiculously high scores (he actually got the Newcastle score correct) and said 10-0 Leicester for last night against my more reserved 1-2 win! Couldn't believe it when we were actually on for his prediction, I'm worried it has messed with his developing brain and he's going to have a warped sense of reality!

RowlattsFox Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 I don't know where to start. It's just another incredible story to tell when I am speaking about this era in Leicester City's history. Yes it was against 10 men, yes Southampton were awful but it was incredible ruthlessness, professionalism and some great football. Just ****ing enjoyed themselves didn't they. Great to see Soyuncu and Evans still going full pelt at the end to keep the clean sheet. Watched it in the pub last night and for the first time, we scored more goals than I had pints. The deep rooted Leicester fan in me naturally thinks we'll go lose to Burton now.
