Bluearmyfox28 Posted 28 January 2020 Posted 28 January 2020 I know it’s not for Jan but if we are still after a winger & centre back in the summer we’ve got to make a double bid for Grealish & Mings both are absolute class.
GingerrrFox Posted 28 January 2020 Posted 28 January 2020 We miss a left footed threat cutting in from the right. I would wait till the summer and go all out for Florian Thauvin with the added weight of European football.

LeeTheFox Posted 28 January 2020 Posted 28 January 2020 If tonight’s result doesn’t scream 2 new wingers then I don’t know what does, Perez isn’t a winger and Harvey Barnes just isn’t quite good enough yet. 3
urban.spaceman Posted 28 January 2020 Posted 28 January 2020 Ok, come on. Which one of you did this? 1
Lesta2014 Posted 28 January 2020 Posted 28 January 2020 We sign No one, no point! We lose 3/4 of our starters in the summer and back to square one

We lose 3/4 of our starters in the summer and back to square one Pish. Not having a go. But we’re doing well enough with our current squad and it can be very hard to get a great deal in January, even though we have a decent track record. We have perhaps the best scouting and recruitment policy in the league too. Barnes and Perez rightfully have their critics but 10 & 11 goals+assists is decent for halfway through the season and about as much as we can ask for IMO. As for losing starting players - we’ve proved with our conduct over the last four summer windows that: - we will not be selling more than one major player per 2 windows; - we will not sell a player for less than our valuation; - we will absolutely not be bullied by any other clubs. The future is really bright. Be patient and enjoy the ride! 6
Dahnsouff Posted 29 January 2020 Posted 29 January 2020 This is going to be another Deadline Day sh*t show isn`t it?
Dahnsouff Posted 29 January 2020 Posted 29 January 2020 Podence heading to the UK to sign for Wolves after fee agreed. Will be very interested to see how he does. (Full on FM muppet favourite )

Dahnsouff Posted 29 January 2020 Posted 29 January 2020 Experience? Cannot help but feel a slightly older (Maybe 26, 27) player, ideally on the right wing, someone with a bit of experience and even grit, might be a good tonic for the team. (Or is that Kev?) Also makes me think Vestergaard* or similar could actually be clever. * other, less shyte center backs maybe available at additional cost

To go along with the 6 he’s got in the league (more than the likes of Salah, Grealish, Firmino, every other Leicester player, with only 7 players in the whole league having more)

Barnes was our most dangerous player going forward last night, he has proven in 2020 that he is going to be one hell of a player. We do still need 2 new wingers though to replace Gray and Albrighton. 6
Pliskin Posted 29 January 2020 Posted 29 January 2020 Ziyech? just throw a bid in today that they can't refuse. I agree with Ric, Barnes has shown enough over the last few games that he will become a decent player. It's the other side we need to improve.
Dahnsouff Posted 29 January 2020 Posted 29 January 2020 Are we still not an attractive proposition for players? Or is it a price related constraint? (Or do we not know who we want!)

Yep. Hardly an attractive job spec is it? In an ideal world, Benkovic would go out on loan and we would get a replacement CB in - but I don't think it the end of the world if we don't. Benko might have to sit on the bench for the rest of the season, with the occasional run out as and when, but it is a situation we can review in the summer. For me, a more pressing need is midfield (even more so than wingers, were we can make do until the summer) I think we've a tactical issue to address, an over reliance on Ndidi. I think we need another defensively minded CM, an experienced head that can sit back a bit more and direct what's going on. Youri is supposed to be our 'manager on the pitch' but I'm not sure that's working out. Ndidi is brilliant but he can't do it all. I think we've been exposed tactically and need a wise, battled hardened midfield general to see us through to the end of the season. And I've NO idea who that might be.

Deeg67 Posted 29 January 2020 Posted 29 January 2020 Hard to imagine we don't find some way to bring in a defender one way or the other. BR is seemingly determined to loan Benko out and Morgan - already pretty past it if we're honest - is seemingly not healthy.
justfoxes Posted 29 January 2020 Posted 29 January 2020 Wolves have priced Adame Traore at £75m plus is he worth the risk ? mate who’s a wolves fan don’t know if trying to put us off him recons they were giving him a better deal but him on one side Ricky P on the other now that would be a great combination !

Can’t believe we’ve bought in not a sausage this transfer window after being linked with all those players sill only 2.5 days left to bring in some class?🤪😱
