He finally got his LCFC moment. This could honestly be the start of a turnaround for him! He's always been able to finish, and today he finished in the most spectacular style!

In the matches he's played, he's been fine. A couple in the League Cup and a great cameo today. More positively, he looked sharp and engaged in the game.

 

If he can be consistent, we hopefully won't need to rely on Vardy so much.

Was excellent today. Looks a different player. He looked decent in pre-season, as well.

 

I think Rodgers is getting a lot more out of him and Gray. This is great as it means there's more depth to the squad, without even spending anything.

I think @lestajigs deserves to hold his end of the bargain. In fact if he's hungry, I'll add some of mine in the mix too.

 

I don't mind criticism of players, but just look at way he talks about Iheanacho. "Piece of crap". Sure the guys had a tough time but no need to talk about him like that.
