He needs to get some praise for coming on and pressing. At one point in stoppage time Southampton had the ball near halfway and his press resulted in them having to go back to keeper and hastily getting rid of the ball.

He does stray offside a lot though. He tries to play on the line but doesn't really move with the defenders when they push up.

I could train my labrador to press but it wouldn't make him worth 60,000k a week. The least you'd expect from a professional footballer is to be fit and run around a bit 🤣. Perhaps a pat on the head and a gravy bone would be appropriate praise?

Time to step up on the pitch.. so time to bump his thread

come in Kel.. got a chance to prove yourself with Vardy out for a few weeks.

let’s ripple that onion bag!

*caveat.. assuming Brendan picks him as JV’s replacement. If not sell him and mods.. delete thread!

I believe Nacho is a confidence player and right now he doesn't have any ? certainly plays like he doesn't.

minus JV we might have to try and adapt and play with two up top, to try and help out the respective player's weaknesses (nacho and perez)

brentford gives us the chance to try this out with lesser stakes

He and the team looked decent in the early europa games without Vardy, hopefully they can click into that sort of form.

Playing euro opposition that was league 1 standard though! there's a big difference. The guy just ain't good enough. If he were any good he would still be at Man City.

We brushed aside Braga, a seasoned European side 4-0 in the home game.

He followed that up by blanking the last 3 games. Most notably losing in Ukraine at the worst side in the group without Vardy on the bench.

He shit, like Gray. Useless waste of space. Decent Championship striker, that's it.

That's a shame, he speaks very highly of you

I'm guessing that was Kelechi's fault?

If someone wants to use a good game as proof he's good I can counter it with no shows.

That's fine. But doesn't mean you can pin the blame on him for a loss :dunno:

I’m right behind him, hope he does well.

In Jamie Vardy we’ve got ourselves a 1 in 2 striker, a rare breed indeed. Both Kelechi and Perez are about 1 in 4. Perfect chance for them pair to get ratios up, and prove their worth

I've always had doubts about him from Day One.

I remember seeing him in his first game for City, didn't he have to go off because he stubbed his toe?!! First impressions and all that.
