the medical team are meant to reduce risk of injuries and ours clearly do not do that

the number of injuries, length of them and slowness players come back from injury suggest issue with the club

soyuncu come back game in -10 degrees one that has stayed in mind for some time

The injury record this season hasn't been that bad. Fewer games has of course helped.

Your inference that 'ACL injuries + LCFC medical = achilles injuries' is very far off the mark.

Must have gone straight in to shock. That's a screaming in pain injury and he seemed pretty calm.

Not always. A lot of people describe it as a “kick in the back of the leg”. It isn’t always painful at the time of injury.

Such bad luck for a talented player… wishing you a speedy recovery JJ!!!

Does anyone know what is actually the matter with Bertrand? Vague remarks in the press about some kind of knee problem and he had an operation a year ago?

He can’t play football, but not because of his injury

Is right back the most cursed position in our history? Serious injuries x2 to Ricardo and Justin. Tommy Williams sustained a broken leg. Killer Feeley ended up in prison

Richard Stearman started out for us at right back and he ended up having to play for Wolves:ermm:

Good luck finding a decent LB. Even Liverpool is stuck with a below average player like Tsimikas.

Tierney from Arsenal would be interesting if he could be tempted. 2nd choice at Arsenal now and at 25 would have resale/profit potential

Question marks over cost and injury history though.

Eh?

Either it's not his fault OR he has to shoulder the responsibility. Can't be both!

And they're never going to field a side with no first teamers at all in it.

Poorly articulated. What I mean is that it's obviously not directly his fault as he can't control whether a player gets injured. But he can take steps to mitigate it by not risking him. And in Justin's case, he's played pretty much every game without a rest and he's still on the way back from his ACL injury and the different setbacks he had there, so it was ridiculous to play him. Why not Castagne who has been rested more? Albrighton at right back even against lower league opposition. Crap management.

Blimey…. I open this thread and contend with two disappointments

Primarily….  Justin out = wounder for him and use

Secondarily…. The drivel spouted on this thread

- “it’s the clubs/BR’s fault” - grow up you bunch of melts…. Why is there always the need to blame when something deeply unfortunate has happened?

- we are also damned lucky to have an extremely strong and able back up in Luke T - Go Luke, I want him to do so well now…
