Poor lad his bad luck is off the charts on the verge of the England squad last time and now days before the England squad announcement.

It could've happened at anytime but to do it against Newport County in a first round League Cup match is extra galling. Easy to say now but he shouldn't have been selected. We didn't need first choice regulars for this match.

Contradicting yourself there.

If he has done his ACL in the other knee, it likely that it is something to do with genetic make up and his just prone to that type of injury.

I don't see any contradiction :dunno:

Unfortunately that's curtains for JJ. He doesn't have the body to cope with the rigours of top flight football.

Its such a shame as he is clearly a very talented player.

You have to wonder how many games Justin and Ricardo will play for us now, giving both long term deals until 2026 straight after year long injuries is baffling.

As a club we have to snap out of this sentimentality. It happened with Matty James and now its happening with Ricardo and JJ.

I fear Ricardo is too far gone but I really hope i'm wrong about JJ but I also fear he's going to have an injury prone career.

Same as Ricardo then....

I guess the only thing you can say it's just unlucky rather than it being a reoccurring injury.

Isn't  this the same injury as before? I might be wrong.

Nope that was knee.

Never had a single injury before joining us

One other thing to point out is that after an ACL injury Matty James had 3 years of Achillies problems and this appears to now be happening to Ricardo and JJ. Seems too coincidental not to be linked.
