Amazing first half. Ricardo and Barnes obvious highlights but Soyuncu has won everything! What a half he’s had. Really strong half from Chilwell too which is great for him.

Outstanding half, naturally there will be a 10-15 min spell where we drop off as our press has been relentless, hard to pick a stand out player as all have played a blinder, barnes looks a different player after his confidence goal, perez is everywhere pressing, chilwell looking to bomb on more, shame about mendy going off as i felt he was playing really well, hope vards injury isnt as bad as it looked, i have full trust in nacho to step in anyway, brilliant half of football

Let’s be honest, he’s too good for us. Pay him whatever the fvck he wants!

Yep totally agree, he could easily play for any team in the world. Highest number of tackles in the league, an assist and a goal already tonight and could have had more. He's simply magnificent!

Re Vardy - For those not watching on BT Sport the physio clearly said to Brendan 'Hes stubbed his leg' this leads me to be hopeful he hasn't done his hamstring and may be a short absence

I’ve told my mrs to expect a Portuguese feller in bed with her come next week because he can just ****ing take her at this stage

Very good performance albeit against a wank Hammers team. But you can only beat what's in front of you.

So glad Barnes is playing well and has another goal. Hope they flood in for him especially if Vardy out.

Great time to score just before half time.

Get another goal and kill it totally

genuinely haven't given  them a chance. could have been most teams tbf

Injuries aside, great 45 mins. Was worried we would find it tough to get out of the slump. Rodgers obviously worked some magic last few days. Chilwell and Youri lots better. I think Barnes is finally becoming the player he hinted at being. Excellent performance from him.

Barnes looks shit hot. We’re finally seeing what a player this lad can be.

A bit harsh, first 1/3 of the season he looked class but just didn’t put the ball in the net.

Dont forget to take him a cup of tea whilst he recovers!!

Summary:

- Very costly clearance by Vardy. Oh dear. He is the one player we do not need to be injured.

- Great game otherwise overall.

- Mendy was playing very well. Best player until he was off.

- Surprised Ndidi is actually playing after his injury.

- Tielemans and Perez doing well with their respective roles.

- Barnes with a goal and an assist. Surpassed Mendy now as the best player on the pitch.

- Maddison, quiet, quiet a few bad touches and just missing something. Praet should come in for a spell in place of Maddison.

- Ricardo, what a menace on the right. We need to pay this guy more.

- Chilwell, better game from him but I wish he could stop moaning at his teammates (at Barnes and then Perez).

- Soyuncu, great defending so far. Won everything.

- Evans organising well at the back.

Unless we "do an Everton" we look good for some points here.

So far:

Barnes. Massive improvement.

Mendy, big improvement (until he went off)

Tielemans, fair improvement.

Chilwell, bit of an improvement.

Ricky P, Soyuncu and Evans, the good stuff we would expect.

Would like to see a bit more from Maddison and Perez, though.

I want this to be true.

But stubbed his leg is absolute gobbledegook.
