We’ve been much the better team. If not for Nyland we’d be ahead. He’s made a couple of top level saves. Can’t understand why Villa were so keen to get Reina in. Against us at least Nyland has been top class and ultimately the difference that means Villa are winning after 3 halves rather than losing.

I hate Targett so much. Their formation is really working against us. The fact that we've still managed to carve out several chances is a positive at least. Iheanacho is playing well but isolated.

Very inexperienced team and it shows. No bottle again.

 

Brendan needs to make a drastic change because we won’t score like this. Maddison’s pot shots have been our only hope.

Their keeper has done very well in both legs. 

We need to be a braver and expressive in possession.  Less passes in the build up to hit them quick. 

 

I’d Definitely get Vardy on for Perez.

The issue is down either flank, Perez is not offering Ricardo any support, and Barnes is having an incredibly inconsistent game. We should have been a couple of goals up before they started but the gamble didn’t pay off. Ultimately the goal was a very poor one to concede, we look a bit vulnerable at the back too, Grealish has made a number of runs and dangerous passes which have caused us a few issues, just a good job that new lad is a bag of nails. 
 

Villa have us where they want us now.
