Lambert09 Posted 2 July 2020 Posted 2 July 2020 I think that they brought him in originally to cover for injured players. They have now returned from injury and the manager obviously prefers to play his own than someone on loan. Williams got sent off in the last game so it could be a chance for him to make himself undropabble
Spudulike Posted 2 July 2020 Posted 2 July 2020 Hope that we're getting a decent loan fee for him. Not much point him being down there otherwise.
Ian Nacho Posted 2 July 2020 Posted 2 July 2020 Williams got sent off last game so might get a chance.

Always a big call to loan players out on here , sadly they rarely play , he would be better off back in our squad.
Sly Posted 4 July 2020 Posted 4 July 2020 He seems to have struggled since the injury at Celtic. I found it telling, that he was the the bees knees in Scotland, however couldn’t cut it here upon return; then hasn’t been able to do it in the Championship.
CosbehFox Posted 4 July 2020 Posted 4 July 2020 Lee Johnson sacked. Serves the Bristol midget right - played Benkovic for all of twenty minutes and insisted on playing the donkey Williams
Guest An Sionnach Posted 8 July 2020 Posted 8 July 2020 Remember Benko is ten years younger than Jonny so when he puts his injury problem behind him he should be groomed as Jonny's successor. If we sign Bennett then we can afford to be patient. Observers say he has all the attributes of a top class CB so we must not give up on him.

Comfortable on the ball, apparently. Some suggesting they should keep him for next season (although realistic that we wouldn't sell).

coolhandfox Posted 8 July 2020 Posted 8 July 2020 I still think he's going to come good, could still be strewed investment if we continue with 3 a the back..........

If he continues to perform well and show some of his Celtic form, I would try to loan him to Bielsa next season potentially. They will need a much bigger squad and will definitely be looking at a couple loans because of that.
st albans fox Posted 9 July 2020 Posted 9 July 2020 I assume he isn’t on a big wedge can’t see the point is not persisting with him which means a loan where he gets properly tested
Guest An Sionnach Posted 9 July 2020 Posted 9 July 2020 Personally I would have him on our bench next season to replace Wes. We need to find a place for Wes in our management team.
