He's playing regularly and openly admits in interview to loving the place and enjoying doing extra training every day with and learning from Ronaldo. If we get into Europe, Vardy isn't going manage every game and at best he's probably only got a couple of years left at this level. Iheanacho has improved but he's never going to be a top level replacement. If there was to be any truth to the rumours of interest in a young player like Jovic, if deemed suitable by the club, I see far more sense in spending big on him rather than up to 30m on yet another centre half where we have reasonable cover. Whilst I understand also the wish for a winger, that very much depends upon what we see as a winger and what tactics Rodgers wants to employ.
