Yeah I don't get that comment. Either they do obviously care but are still annoyed at last night (Fair enough) or they just don't realise that this is a great chance to advance in the only Cup we've never won and also give the lads a bit of confidence back.
Deeg67 Posted 29 February 2020 Share Posted 29 February 2020 I care, but triage must be executed here. League match on 3/10 is the priority and Birmingham is a side we should handle - rest most of the key players and let the Brentford side (more or less) take care of it. DerbyshireFox Posted 29 February 2020 Share Posted 29 February 2020 Draw for them at QPR today has seen them 13 unbeaten in all competitions - admittedly a few draws in there. Definitely a potential banana skin if we don’t approach it correctly

Although I'm not sure what that is atm They need a confidence boost, not a rest. A 1/4 final win against one of the big guns(it would probably be one of them) could get us up and running again. TheLittleBigMan Posted 29 February 2020 Share Posted 29 February 2020 A cup game is just the tonic we need right now. Lets put our league worries aside for the night and get at them form the off. 0-4 Up the foxes.
Pliskin Posted 29 February 2020 Share Posted 29 February 2020 Put a full strength team out plus Vardy if fit. They’ve work to do, so get to it.

Really don't think we have a full strength team right now. What I will say is we have played better recently when Fuchs is in the team.
Popular Post Aus Fox Posted 29 February 2020 Popular Post Share Posted 29 February 2020 We have 10 league games plus however many FA Cup games we go through... Maximum of 4. Play a full strength team, no one needs a rest now. We have less than 3 months and then the majority of this squad will have their summer break. I firmly believe if we get our confidence back we have a real chance of winning the FA Cup this season. Lets attack these from the off, judging by BR comments Vardy won’t be available, but Ndidi should come back in. We need some sort of spark and I’m not sure where it comes from, but if a Tielemans, Madison, Barnes or even Grey can use this game to regain some confidence and go on a run of 10 games of good form we can still achieve anything. As I said in a previous post though let’s get behind the lads! Balloons, ripped up Sporting Green (if it’s still in existence) any rag paper will do. Be loud and let’s get through.

Grebfromgrebland Posted 29 February 2020 Share Posted 29 February 2020 Interesting that Gray doesn't seem to be an option anymore with Brendan opting to play Matty James and Albrighton when we need a goal.
Gazza M Posted 29 February 2020 Share Posted 29 February 2020 Early days but shake it up with a view of a team that can get a win and then take that in to the Villa game. Assuming Bennett isn't cup tied. foxfan92 Posted 1 March 2020 Share Posted 1 March 2020 Even if both fit (dont think Vardy will be) I wouldn't risk Ndidi or Vardy in this. I would try to build some confidence in some of the other players though, while giving some a reminder that they need to improve or there are alternatives. I'd try something like this. (Obviously if Fuchs plays he'd be on the left.) I think Mendy is fit again. If not Choudary. Schmeichel Fuchs/ Bennet Evans Soyuncu Richardo Barnes Mendy Tielemans Praet Maddison Inheachio Not a huge fan of the diamond, but think it could work in this game and give Tielemans and Maddison some much needed confidence.
