But I know I didn't predict us to lose at Norwich and I didn't think we'd get as complacent as we have, so here it is. Obviously other teams might be different, but I dont see us getting top4

Sir Shep Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Europa League wouldn’t be the end of the world just disappointing that we may let the champions league slip after having such a healthy position. What concerns me a lot more though is continuing this form in to next season, then I’m guessing they’ll be hard choices to make. Let’s hope not anyway.

Even if we didn’t,we can’t say it’s been a crap season.It will still be the best PL finish so far,which shows the club is moving in the right direction.COYB

Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Liverpool man city chelsea wolves/Man U man u/wolves spurs/Leicester leicester/spurs Pessimistic maybe but I just think that is realistically our level. We don’t have as good a squad as the teams listed above and with Sheffield United, Spurs and Man U in our last three that’s where the slip down to 6th/7th may occur. It’s disappointing given the way we were pre-Christmas but realistically it’s an upgrade from last year. Hopefully, we can kick on a bit more with some good signings in the summer without losing too many. We need a winger or two before we can keep up with the top six.

Trent Steel Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 On current form 6th-8th, Rodgers needs to sort it out sharpish. We should of bolstered in the January transfer window (attacking players). Starting to lose faith in Rodgers. he doesn't seem to be able to change it enough to get a result. Also think the players all need a kick up the arse. With UTD and others coming on strong its not looking good for us tbh.

Given that we’ve been poor since December and people are only just realising that I’m concerned we’ll just continue to plod on. Our poor form has gone unnoticed because the following pack have been poor themselves but they all seem to be getting some form now and are closing.
