Birmingham City (H) FA Cup Match Thread

Abysmal half again. 80 odd percent possession and no shots on target against lower league opposition. It's a worrying regular occurrence now. We play with zero intensity week in week out. In massive danger of spunking both domestic cups and a top 4 finish up the wall from brilliant positions.

Something is clearly wrong. You see more effort in a sunday league game. We are a shower.

Is there a way of muting a word in this forum?

The word I'd like to mute is "Puel".

Move on.

We need a target man in the Summer, just to give us a different option when pretty ball is not working.

Nacho is playing like a target man right now. We are hitting him with long balls, hes trapping it and protecting it bit if there is no one willing to get within a few yards of him then it doesn't make a differance.

Then they should expect dejected players.

Whether they pay or not money doesn't mean the players on the pitch are immune to pressure.

Pressure????

Pressure is not being able to afford to feed your kids and support your family.

Not feel the heat against bloody Norwich and Brirmingham 🤣🤣🤣

When did you last see ultra amazing? lol

Granted it was a while ago but my point was more than it hasn't been (all) ultra shit either.

We really miss a Mahrez type player who can take two players out of the equation in an instant.

We do need a player like that. Freakish does it for Villa. We do lack that bit of spark to drag us through a game at times.

Why don't put 4 up front or something crazy we may as well make this entertaining

Really?

When we lose cos we've gone too attacking there'll be even more boos, plenty of calls for Rodgers to go and just pure outrage.

Our manager is good.

Our players are good (and a lot better than Brum).

Something else must be the problem.

So much hyperbole round here lol

Everything's either ultra shit or ultra amazing. Never an inbetween.

I think it was very inbetween early during the season when we were doing well (well in terms of results) some claimed we were playing some incredible stuff, I personally never saw it, it was still this boring passive shite, we were doing it better and we were getting results but I remember many times commenting that the results were great but we weren't playing particularly great but kept claiming it was 'a sign of a good team'.

Slow and meandering. Thank god for Evans.  Naco had hardly any aetvice. Rest have been poor and devoid of confidence

Atmosphere odd without L1 and 5k blues in good voice

Are we playing the wrong formation against teams like this?

Yes Birmingham have been good defensively recently and it’s difficult to break down 8 players when you only have 5 or 6 attacking maximum. Doesn’t help when Maddison is AWOL on the wing or in Defensive midfield

Don’t worry we spent 30 million quid on a winger in the summer, I presume he can do that?

Albrighton moving the ball quicker and winning it back well. Ironically looks the most dangerous player on the pitch. We need to move the ball quicker! We're making this so easy for them!!
