Talking of transfers dragging on, Fraser knew he was joining Newcastle by the time the season ended but has only just joined them.

 

Contract negotiations can take time especially when the selling club wants to get the most out of you and there's some competition for the player.

The only thing that concerns me is he's only 19 and never played in the Prem and looks like we could potentially chuck him straight in with Morgan and Benkovic both injured and Evans suspended.

If we are playing a back three in a proportion of our games then he will likely start those 

 

if it’s a back two then he is going to be the one sat on the bench (unless he really is a star) when cags and Jonny are available and we want the best two starting 

 

for 40/50k/week at 19 y o he will be happy to miss some games ....

..look at our options at the start of the season!!!

 Absolutely a no brainer he starts unless he has to undergo quarantine.  Castagne on the right and Thomas on the left in a wingback role.
