Contract negotiations can take time especially when the selling club wants to get the most out of you and there's some competition for the player. If we are playing a back three in a proportion of our games then he will likely start those if it’s a back two then he is going to be the one sat on the bench (unless he really is a star) when cags and Jonny are available and we want the best two starting for 40/50k/week at 19 y o he will be happy to miss some games ....
