I’d be well pissed if I were Puel. Puel persisted with Chilwell when everyone wanted him dropped. Chilwell eventually came good, got in the England squad and made us loads of money, and now we want to use that money to prize one of Puel’s star youngsters away from him, after we told Puel to get lost.

It’s football, we didn’t want to lose Mahrez but did, didn’t want to lose Kante but did, some didn’t want to lose Chilwell we did, I did not want to Okazaki go but he did...... always a bigger fish and they often win. He’s coming to us and that’s that, Puel can suck his left nut, if he wasn’t such a boring useless member of the Cambridge university netball team he probably wouldn’t have been sacked.

He did say in an interview today theres no way the player leaves, but thats just all bluster isn't it.
