Haven't been bad. Just wish corners would beat the first man. Pawson still the worse ref in the league.

Need to up the tempo and stretch their defence. Too easy for them. A familiar tale though when our wingers offer nothing.

Thought we looked by far the better team up until the drinks break, That seemed to take the wind out of our sails, and we’ve let them back in.

Everyone looks a little rusty, to be expected. Still fancy us for the win.

Watford are defending so deep because they know we’re the better team but fair play to them it’s what we did... Our wingers need to step up because I’m sure Rodgers is looking at what we need for the future. Albrighton and Barnes have to most difficult job today having to create something with hardly any space but they need to show they can do it because currently they’re not doing enough.

To be fair after 3 months off myself I expect to be going back to work and probably banging my forklift into something I shouldn’t have. I guess we just need a little more time and we will come good I’m sure.

Nothing from Barnes or Albrigton, we are desperate for a tricky wide made who can beat people.

With the ultra low block Watford have been employing, they’ve both been coming narrow to create space for our full backs - which presented us with some nice positions early on.

Hopefully we can take it up a gear second half.

Better team for 25 mins worst for 20 mins. We don't look like we can beat them when they are set as we don't have the height nor the numbers in the box. They look like they could score from a set piece as they are winning the first and second balls. we need to run at them and beat them man on man, we need to inject pace and get players moving up front.

N'Didi with his poor touch already could have been costly. Barnes, Madders and YT quiet. James Justin possibly our best player, Kasper has looked tuned in.

More speed, more guile, more belief needed. We should look better as the game lengthens.

I think we're about 90% of what we were before the break. Passings not quite as accurate as it should be, the urgency's not quite there. We'll get better.

Shite, normal service resumed.

Aimless tikka taka, dodgy at the back.

Not keeping a Champions league place playing like this.

 oh dear

Boring as expected but not the end of the world - I do feel like we've a tendency to play ourselves into trouble mind. Handful of times that half we were playing unecessary passes that put the recipients in tight spots.

Chilwell and Tielemans looked right on it in the first 20 mins. Having said that, whilst Chilwell looks pretty sharp, looks like he's lost about 10 yards of pace!

I'd be tempted to swap Barnes and Albrighton.

Chilwell could do with Albrighton's help defensively dealing with Sarr and Barnes and Justin looked to have a good partnership in our last game.

Yea how he can book Tielemans for that non challenge and not book the guy who tripped Chilwell moments later. He always baffles me by how inconsistent he is 🤨

We are missing that attacking edge we had but we had to expect it. It'll come, we just need to muddle through until then.

Yeh, need to get hoofing the ball, sod this passing football malarkey

Well we might actually get the ball into the danger area then.

Absolutely pointless passing it around at the back for 50 minutes if we dont get forward. Its absolutely dull too.

I'm happy to have some quick passing and movement. We are not doing that.

Not so bad! A bit sloppy but nothing too terrible. Justin was good. Maddison got very much stuck in, best player so far imo alongside Evans. A few players off the pace but no big tragedy so far. Let's see if we can get into the groove a bit better now. Watford cannot keep that press up for too long.

Maddison got stuck in

You’re basing that on the last one - but the freekick and corner before that were lovely flighted balls, just lacked a dominant presence attacking them.

Looks like what it is- a match on a hot day at 12.30pm between teams who haven't played for months.

Second half we need to improve going forward and stop playing ourselves into trouble.
