Premier League 2020/21 Thread

Those who obsess with Brighton's xG seems to claim Brighton are unlucky in matches but if they cant finish chances thats not bad luck, thats bad finishing. If Brighton want to improve they should either buy a better striker or find another way of scoring.

We probably ain’t catching them anyway. The teams below more important that Utd. If we beat West Ham we’ll do this. X

Agreed - wasnt that bothered about this match for this reason. Our rivals are those in the chasing pack. We can worry about Man Utd and finishing 2nd if we have the top 4 sealed.

They are toothless infront of goal.

Sign someone like Callum Wilson or Toney this summer though and they'll probably end up 10th-12th next season.

Its not necessarily about catching them. It's keeping them in the mix if any team below does go on a run then at least its not just us they are chasing.

To be fair, McManaman as an ex-Liverpool and ex-Man City player was fairly quick to dismiss it in favour of Utd!

I'm not as anti Utd as most, but you have to admit, you've seen Utd get a penalty in similar circumstances up the other end.

It was a pivotal moment and  they seem to get more of the decisions in their favour

uck it - bad weekend for us now

Not really. Utd’s result don’t mean shit for us.

Chelsea and Spurs dropping points is absolutely golden. Just need Wolves to do the business tomorrow.
