Super_horns Posted 10 April 2021 Posted 10 April 2021 (edited) 5live seem to think it’s a clear red saying the ref didn’t really need to use VAR. Edited 10 April 2021 by Super_horns
goose2010 Posted 10 April 2021 Posted 10 April 2021 That's a red all day long. He isn't in control. If someone did that to Vardy and got a yellow you'd all be livid! 1

Nalis Posted 10 April 2021 Posted 10 April 2021 I can see where the ref is coming from but where the hell is football going with contact tackles? This isnt suppose to be basketball
djskydiver Posted 10 April 2021 Posted 10 April 2021 Never a red, won the ball with plenty of time before Jesus got to it, he should have pulled out the challenge.
CollinsLCFC Posted 10 April 2021 Posted 10 April 2021 Red imo. We'd be screaming for it if that was against us
KrefelderFox666 Posted 10 April 2021 Posted 10 April 2021 If that's a red card you may as well make football a non contact sport
Fosse93 Posted 10 April 2021 Posted 10 April 2021 Never a red for me, won the ball. Follow through makes it a yellow.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 10 April 2021 Posted 10 April 2021 Red card all day, foot high studs showing, reckless and totally needless stupid
Blanchflower78 Posted 10 April 2021 Posted 10 April 2021 Who'd have thought trusting your own attacking strengths may just test Man Citys resolve... 1
lcfcliam Posted 10 April 2021 Posted 10 April 2021 Im sorry but how can anybody justify saying that's not a red, Hayden won the ball against us last season but still caught Praet really high, dangerous tackle both feet off the floor.

filbertway Posted 10 April 2021 Posted 10 April 2021 How is that a red It wasnt a challenge. He cleared the ball, and then Jesus happened to be there. Every weekend it feels like football dies a little more

Arkie Bennett Posted 10 April 2021 Posted 10 April 2021 Yellow for sure. Harsh red given he took the ball and the collision was inevitable.
lcfcsnow Posted 10 April 2021 Posted 10 April 2021 They only looked at it as Jesus stayed down feigning injury, he knew what he was doing and it’s horrible to see refs fall for it time and time again.
filbertway Posted 10 April 2021 Posted 10 April 2021 I'm not even convinced it's a free kick never mind a red. God I hate what the game has become

Then the ref has a look gives the red and he says yeah red is the right call. He is a surely just trolling us all ffs.

Just shows how subjective decisions can be . Edited 10 April 2021 by Super_horns 1

I'm.not surprised. Pundits and commentators are turning the game into a contact free sport. Hence why so many in here think it's a red.
