The Bear Posted 16 April 2021 Posted 16 April 2021 Lamoard is the early favourite. I hope he gets it as he did well with young players at Derby. Anyone but John Terry FFS.

Either that or a quality coach from internal, like how Steve Cooper was. give it Lampard he did well blending Chelsea's youngsters in and then if it works out for him give him Southgate's job. The problem with the under 21's if they are that good they go into the first time squad (usually to sit on the bench) there needs to be a relationship between the two coaches. So it the likes of Bellingham, Saka & Foden aren't going to play for the seniors they should play for the Under 21's. 3

I'm sure they're trying their hardest but money is tight at the moment and the Rich 6 have probably already cherry picked the best.

Pretty spot on, there needs to be dialogue where if a player isn't going to player in the seniors, he should be playing in the u21s. We've seemed to have lost that recently.

On paper England can put out an unreal team that surely under the right manager could win a major tournament.

cruzFOX Posted 16 April 2021 Posted 16 April 2021 Hope this ends 0-0 for me. I'm tuning in now (have it on in the background). Don't care for either team tbh. 1

Zear0 Posted 16 April 2021 Posted 16 April 2021 Interesting few minutes. Fairly sure the Everton player kicked the turf there.
Bats8711 Posted 16 April 2021 Posted 16 April 2021 I still haven't seen a replay that shows contact... not that I care.
irishfoxkev Posted 16 April 2021 Posted 16 April 2021 Yep penalty decision bit fortunate but I’ll take 1 all scoreline

If you’re running behind someone who kicks the turf and trips up, of course you’re going to run into them and make contact. That’s not a foul though. 1
st albans fox Posted 16 April 2021 Posted 16 April 2021 sky haven’t given us a replay that shows the contact prior to James kicking the floor ..... carra can’t get his head around it ....
