Part of me wanted to see NUFC go into 4th in the table so I can shut my brother in law up when he moans about Ashley and Bruce. I swear he's never happy following football.
adam Posted 6 November 2020 Posted 6 November 2020 How has VAR checked that and not given a penalty. So inconsistent 1

theessexfox Posted 6 November 2020 Posted 6 November 2020 Really angers me that Carroll still gets paid to play Premier League football
Popular Post HybridFox Posted 6 November 2020 Popular Post Posted 6 November 2020 Fair bit of mutual respect for Southampton tbf. Their reaction to the 9-0 has been top class 8

Not really sure what job he can do other than barge people and whine about an elbow in the back, he is absolutely finished and anything he gets paid to play is too much. I don’t think Joelinton is a bad player, great header from him near the end too.
420Hashish Posted 6 November 2020 Posted 6 November 2020 The league's broken. What's Southampton doing up there?
Vacamion Posted 6 November 2020 Posted 6 November 2020 Good for Southampton. I'll never forget the thrill of cutting the table out of the newspaper when we were briefly top under Taylor. As I've posted elsewhere I kept that cutting in my wallet for years after. Whatever is wrong with football, it isn't Southampton's fault, so I hope they enjoy being top, however briefly. 4

Popular Post Stadt Posted 6 November 2020 Popular Post Posted 6 November 2020 Seems like Leicestershire has finally started producing players at a reasonable rate. We have our lot in Barnes, Choudhury, Thomas, KDH & Knight, Adams is doing well, Moore is getting tipped for a move and Oliver Burke grew up in Melton too. 5
Dan Posted 6 November 2020 Posted 6 November 2020 I'm really quite chuffed for Southampton. I've always found them a very inoffensive club. Need to say this about Vestergaard. I maintain he is bound to be exposed at some point in their high line but he's actually a better player than I gave him credit for. Very good in the air and actually a quite good passer too. 1

I've seen a few games this season where he has made a real difference when he's come on and held the ball up and helped Newcastle see out matches. Don't get me wrong, he's no where near his best and injuries have clearly taken a toll but he can do a very niche thing very well which in my opinion is quite useful. Joelinton on the other hand, I'm not sure I've ever seen him have a good game, maybe rochdale in the cup but I think that shows his level personally. 1

It’s almost like Walcott and Adams have forgotten that they’re meant to be crap as usual . ( although the same comment applies to Bamford prior to playing us)
Hollyfox Posted 6 November 2020 Posted 6 November 2020 Fair play to Southampton. After we battered them, they stuck with the manager and have been very impressive since then. One of the best sides I saw at the KP last season and tore us a new one tbh. Love to see someone else up at the top and always had a soft spot for them, as they were my lovely nans team💙 2
