Bloomfield with the goal for Wycombe, one club man, been playing for them since 2003, I think that's great.

Can't help but want Cov to pull away from trouble. Not words I thought I'd ever utter. But Been a good week for them.

They've  suffered enough. And on the pitch rebuilt themselves magnificently under Robins

Oh, Robins has done a terrific job. League 2 to the Championship in 3 years all while having little, if any, money and no home ground.

Tony Pulis have been in charge of Sheff Wednesday for 3 games and they've had 2 shots on target in those 3 games.

I've been watching interviews of Dave Kitson, Leon Cort and Michael Tonge lately. All played for Stoke under Pulis. And all said the same thing about Pulis. Kitson in particular was very critical of him. All they did in training was working on shape. Nothing else. Pulis would spend hours all week on the team defensive shape. No shooting practic, no passing moves, nothing. Kitson said he once after training went to do some shooting practice and Pulis ****ing reprimanded him. Cort and Tonge said it was the most boring training sessions they've ever had. How this dinosaur is still making a living in football is beyond me.

Derby fans already doing the ‘would going down to League 1 be that bad’ stuff. Every year you can long on to teams forums and see the same question asked with us usually the first example of how it can do some good. Derby do look like a prime candidate to benefit from a League 1 refresh tbf

Well if the takeover happens they could be billionaires in league one !

Best performance of the season from us.

Maybe says something about the league that the relegated sides are the top 3 without really being that great.

Maybe it’s just the odd moments of extra telling be it scoring or defending.

Even our own players were admitting we have been lucky in a few games.

On Crouchy’s podcast he was saying that a few of the lads went into Pulis to ask him if they could play a bit more expansively. Pulis responded:

”Don’t think you’re good players. You’re shit players in a good system” lol

Also said they were playing Swansea once and 1-0 up at HT. Pulis was fuming that they’d been playing through midfield so on the tactics board he scribbled out the entire middle of the pitch with a marker. Then draws a line from defence to attack and says “fvcking stick it in there. None of this tippy tippy bullshit”

They went on to lose the game lollol

Pulis only became relatively popular (and newsworthy) after his promotion with Stoke. Before then he was unpopular at pretty much every club and even his promotion wasn't a glorious ride into the sunset- a few games before it their fans were criticising him. The final match was a 0-0 home draw against an absolute basket case in ourselves who would be relegated yet had by far the clearest chances.

Only when he got to the Premier League did his methods come under real scrutiny and they worked- he kept Stoke comfortable for years. Eventually they were bored rigid by it. It is probably only Palace fans who didn't get tired of the style of play. He missed out on the play-offs with Middlesbrough because they scored about 47 goals.

He may well keep Wednesday up but the football will be dire to watch. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go at the end of the season whatever happens.

I'm sure Michael Owen criticised him because he turned up and did fvck all like you say, just working on shape and off ball stuff.

I heard that! Tbf I think a lot of players do fit systems. I said it before Sheffield United. I don't particular think they have great players they just work in the system.

Forest go behind with some poor defending after Knockaert should have put them ahead.

They just put some stats up saying they are 6th in the league for amount of shots, but 23rd for accuracy. My Forest STH mate says it sums up their season. Create chances but can't score.

The top 6 of the championship looks horrible. Boring clubs who will offer nothing to the Premier League.

Would much rather see any of Millwall, Sheffield Wednesday, Birmingham city, Luton Town going up.

Yeah, I know we're not allowed in atm but the away days at the likes of Reading aren't appealing. I do enjoy going Watford/Norwich but the lower half looks better.

Derby, Forest and Coventry going down will be a dream lol

Would like Cov to stay up after what they've been through. There but for the grace of God etc...

The level of meltdown in the Forest forum is entertaining though

Would anyone like some light reading on a Sunday afternoon?

This thread is for you if the answer is yes!

The amount of Derby fans defending this in Twitter is amazing lol

That young Forest fan's, who lets one off some point during it, video is up there as amongst one of the best for hilarity from their fan base..
