Championship - 2020/2021

Can't see Benitez taking on the Derby role, apart from one reason - £££.

Am not sure if Rooney, potentially, can take over the helm - given his lack of coaching qualifications.

A bit of risk for both, Derby appointing someone with no experience while being bottom of the league and Rooney risking relegation on his first season of his CV. Rooney should just carry on playing and coaching and learning as he goes along and wait for that perfect job. If it means taking a job in League Two.

That bottom of the championship is a sight for sore eyes 👀

It's funny really, but given how far we've come in recent years it all feels a bit irrelevant. We've left derby and forest so far behind and Coventry have been irrelevant a while.

That said after the whole Rooney love in and the dodgy sponsorship deal that pays for him, it would be funny to see Derby go down.

It'd serve Mel Morris right in these poor decisions for the club's integrity, but would feel sorry for the majority of Derby fans - as most of them seem fairly down-to-earth.

Always a good club to visit from a media perspective and agree that most of their fans I've come across are pretty fair minded, unlike the other lot across the A52.

Derby lol

I do want to laugh at but don't want to be disrespectful to Wycombe who have only lost 1 in 5. 10 points is probably better than they'd expected at this rate.
