Hasn't he gone back to Blackpool or did I dream that?

You do know we won the league that wasn't actually a dream.

Could be a good move, this one. Luton will have ambitions of pushing on and not being involved in a relegation scrap this term, and having a promising young midfielder from the Premier League could be a good addition for them.

It'll be a scrap for KDH at times, too. It could really help him get accustomed to the rigours of first-team football.

On the one hand it could be worth someone like him as 5th/6th choice and playing a few European and Cup games but on the other a full season in the Championship might see his development continue further and then he's even more ready to be called upon as a first team player for 2021/22.

Why? He's about to turn twenty two, we've got three of the best central midfielders in the league and he's never been anywhere near the first team.

There are times you have to look at young players from their perspective, not just your own.

The club has a duty of care, its essentially a school, we should be given these lads an education in football and life that sets them up for their careers. You graduate from all schools eventually and not everyone's going to make it as an lcfc pro.

Much better to let him go at this point in his career than force him to stay. Everyone tuts at Chelsea for hoarding youngsters, we should know when to say goodbye to these kids. If there's genuine interest from a football league club that's going to play him every week we should let him go - plush cashing in gets us something back to keep funding youth development.

Just like energy money etc.. When you let it go it grows. When you hoard it it diminishes and weakens.

You're re right the Club does have a duty of care to the young players.

However I'd like to see them go further and encourage the younger players take a Certificate or Degree course alongside their football studies.

To be fair to the Club, Nobody that we let go as young player has come back to haunt us or carved out a strong career elsewhere.

As to Dewsbury- Hall We're only letting him go out on Loan again which is the right thing to do for his development.

If he can survive in the Championship then he should come back a stronger and better player for his experience.

Good luck to the lad, I wish him well.

Plus it brings in some welcome income for the Academy.

Get him down on an improved 3-4 year deal, get him out on loan to the championship next season and hopefully make £2m-3m from him next summer

Too early for him to start games for us regularly, needs a season on loan in the Championship playing 30+ games, this would be good.

And we can always recall him in January, if needed. (I am assuming the January window will operate as normal; but have no idea.)

Yeah I'd have no argument with any of that.

If the clubs youth aims are to nurture talent for all these years, find someone who has genuine promise just to sell for a paltry 2-3mil you have to question why we even bother.

The reports on KDH are overwhelmingly good. Blackpool fans think he's the second coming of Paul Scholes. But because he's 22 we should write him off?

Ridiculous.
