Rock solid. Got some important blocks in early doors and just grew from there. There was one bit where he waltzed past a couple of Liverpool players like they weren’t there. Big Danildhino.

What a servant he’s been to Leicester. Was part of the 15/16 winning squad, suffered a horrific injury, never complains when he’s frequently benched. Loves defending, loves a tackle and a block. He’s a brilliant squad member and we’ll miss him during AFCON.

As fans we’re guilty of talking about him with some sardonic, and affectionately mocking humour, and at times I think he can be a bit of the butt of the joke.

We need to be giving this man much more respect. He was fvcking unbelievable against Liverpool, and he’s stepped up to be the player we’ve needed in a crisis. He’s been such a pro in his whole time with us. Absolute class.

Love Big Dan, genuinely think he's becoming one of my favourite players. He's taken some pelters over the years, but if there's one player that fits the stereotypical Leicester mould it's him. Deserves more of a chance whilst he's turning out performances like tonight.

I heard a few times on commentary last night that he’s a midfielder and Rodgers said last night that he’s a midfielder or a full back.

 

Can we put that to bed? He’s a centre back. He’s been much better for us at centre back than he ever was at full back or in midfield, he’s played to a good standard there all season now and by rights should only be behind Evans and Fofana in the pecking order.
