whoareyaaa Posted 27 September 2020 Posted 27 September 2020 our players may as well take the knee for the rest of the game 3
TrickyTrevLeftPeg Posted 27 September 2020 Posted 27 September 2020 So far I'm extremely disappointed. We've sacrificed our strengths and shown so much respect. You can't camp out on your 18 yard box all game long. You're inevitably going to concede. 1

KFS Posted 27 September 2020 Posted 27 September 2020 We cashed in our good season from Kasper last year then

Rodgers would field 11 defenders if he can. Puel was not given enough time. He was trying to rely too much on Ndidi at a time when his passing was atrocious and was just losing too much of the ball - this was more prominent when we face so called lesser teams because we could not break them down. Rodgers inherited a much better Ndidi. Puel was not a bad manager. Edited 27 September 2020 by Tom12345 2
Guest Manini Posted 27 September 2020 Posted 27 September 2020 There’s just no point. You don’t even get any feeling of optimism playing against the big teams any more. He’s too busy trying to tickle their ego and “contain” them giving them all this respect. It’s a complete waste of time even turning up with this set up.

Kasey Keller Posted 27 September 2020 Posted 27 September 2020 Evans is pitching a tent on our box as we’re gonna be fvcking camped in it
Brooksy Posted 27 September 2020 Posted 27 September 2020 We look like a championship side at the moment

Sly Posted 27 September 2020 Posted 27 September 2020 We’re deep and narrow. This will be a long, boring game. 1
Popular Post Finnegan Posted 27 September 2020 Popular Post Posted 27 September 2020 This is just so much the most Man City will ever be there for the taking. Should have just turned up with an unchanged team (Evans in for Wilf obviously) and just carried on. Gone at them. Leeds have a ****ing championship squad and still ran Liverpool close just by getting at them. Rodgers needs to stop over thinking these encounters, grow a set of testes and just let us off the leash. 6

The way he set the team up at the Etihad and at home to Liverpool last season was suicidal. Way too open in key areas. We’re set up today like we did under Puel (positionally if not by formation) in those big games where you’re right we tended to do better. We did get beaten 5-1 here under Puel when we tried to defend too deep.
foxile5 Posted 27 September 2020 Posted 27 September 2020 This is an under strength Man City. We should be at them, not setting up with a formation that invites pressure. 1

Dan Posted 27 September 2020 Posted 27 September 2020 I didn't expect anything from this game but this is just going to be yet another abject 'effort' against a top side. Aka it's as easy a win as they'll have this season. That's what bugs me, more than losing itself. We've got to hope we're somehow only a goal down by the time it's acceptable to make a sub.
yorkie1999 Posted 27 September 2020 Posted 27 September 2020 How can you play a back 5 and still get dicked by wingers

ARM1968 Posted 27 September 2020 Posted 27 September 2020 Same as usual. Brendan showing the FEAR. He’s an utter child when it comes to facing the big boys. Have a FUCHING go you cant. 1
