Europa League Post match City win V Zorya

Recommended Posts

A win is a win. Couldn't control the game as much as we used to and the subs made the game very sloppy and disjointed. But I guess it was about minutes at that point.

Have a feeling that'll be the easiest game of the group so good to get a comfortable win, but I'm not buying the hype as much as others.

We just put every player available to us on the bench which meant both keepers - pretty much every team playing tonight had 2 keepers on the bench as you get 12 subs

Thankyou.

Just noted it on the BBC Sport page when checking the line ups - only just got in from work - and it only showed 8 subs and of course there was two keepers in there which seemed strange.

In the Europa your allowed to name your remaining listed squad on the bench, and make 5 in game subs

Good comfortable win, they kept the ball very well for the first half an hour or so, but after we scored it was very comfortable.

Very similar to the West Brom game at the start of the season.

Fofana looked outstanding and will score a few goals with his big leap, unlucky not to get one tonight.

Tielemans oozes class, everything good came through him and he controlled the game.

Barnes tore them a new one and was outstanding.

Iheanacho is a brilliant number 10, dont expect him to be a 9 and do what Vardy does, he plays his own game and does his job very well.

Really hoping the Premier League put a sneaky bid in for Stephanie Frappart in January, not sure if it was the lack of VAR or the way she had no time for rolling around tactics but the best official I’ve seen in a long time.

On to Athens next!

No one going to mention that pass from under to castagne in the buildup to setting up that praet chance? Once he gets going and does things like that consistently he should be class for us.

I thought he looked a bit brighter tonight to be fair
