He's a good but injuries has derailed his career here. But having said that. If Ricardo, Justin and Castagne were all fit and in top form, Castagne would be a bench warmer.

Has and always will be class.

Arguably our most consistent full back.

If all four are fit and on top form, Castagne is an excellent rotation player, and we are a step forward toward becoming a club that can deploy quality XIs while covering League, cup and European competitions -- i.e. the club we are trying to become!

Just shows what we have been missing. Thomas is decent and he's one of our own but at this time he's just lacking that touch, physicality and awareness that a top player like Timmy has. Thomas now needs to learn his trade and develop and hopefully he's given a chance to do that rather than thrown in to the deep end week in week out.

Love the guy. I was confused why he was starting on the left, but did great out there

I suspect its because defensively he's stronger than Justin and Mbuemo is a very physical winger.

Dunno, as a RWB he is strong defensively. But maybe less at LWB against his foot.

I agree, I've not been too fond of him on the left compared to on the right and Justin is better on the left than the right but I think Rodgers was cautious that Justin isn't quite there defensively at the minute so opted for Castagne's better process up against Mbuemo.

Was pretty surprised him and Justin didn’t start on different sides. Not sure him and Barnes on the left works as both like to cut inside. Be he scored so I clearly know nothing!

Sell him

Another injury before the end of the season and I most definitely would do if someone comes in for him for what we paid.

Hes less injury prone than 2 out of our 4 full backs.
