It was wetter last autumn and winter and we didn’t seem to have any problems but then there’s a lot of pitches that seem to be struggling a little this year. Although it shows how far pitches have come that it’s deemed on the poor side

I’ve got a theory. We battered Southampton 9-0 when it was basically flooding down. Another tactical master stroke by Brendan

I noticed it was poor when one of our games was on amazon a few weeks ago but didn't know if it was down to a poor picture I was getting through amazon.

People making points about the weather are more than valid but we usually keep it pristine and to the highest standard even in the worst weather.

Fair point about it not having a full off season and also we'd usually get it relayed during the summer off season.

Although didn't we get it relayed during the 1st lockdown, we're a couple of months of that being year appreciated.

Is it an unfair observation? With the way we play, a good pitch is vital. We've got another big game on Tuesday. Hopefully it will be better by then.

It isn't about blaming anyone, just noting something.

Apparently grounds team have had tons of work to do at the new training ground so the pitch has received less attention than normal.

Not true.

They have a dedicated team for the ground that are there day in day out

Scraping the barrel with this one, Christ.

Not really

Running on that kinda of playing surface is more taxing and tiring than when it’s pristine.

My back garden’s exactly the same. Main difference, Leicester’s groundsmen don’t have to clean up the dog poo.

I’m not sure about - some of our performances  at home this season have been dog shit...

Have you seen outside... it’s like a bog everywhere. Just too much rain in the last few days for the ground to deal with obviously!

What is this “outside” you speak of?
