He is one of those players who would only end up at Villa in the summer and do well. He has done enough to convince me he is a good player, I also think he is capable of being fairly versatile, I think he can pretty much play anywhere in midfield. In recent weeks with the 9 subs he may have been on the bench ahead of Choudhury or Amartey but particularly when Praet was fit there wouldn't have been many opportunities although at the moment whilst Perez is up front it would be nice to have some kind of AM on the bench.However he would be an investment for the next 3-4 years and hopefully grow into a role in the squad.
