Aus Fox 9,068 Posted 13 February Report Share Posted 13 February (edited) Which ever 11 players are fully fit to start the game in any formation that fits. Go away, stay in the tie and then get it won at the King Power Edited 13 February by Aus Fox I just realised we play at the King Power not the Kong Power
Corky 14,473 Posted 13 February Report Share Posted 13 February Won't be easy but any sort of positive result, preferably with an away goal, will put us in a strong position for the home leg. Don't anticipate too many changes.
StriderHiryu 18,292 Posted 13 February Report Share Posted 13 February These guys are good and should not be underestimated. A score draw would be a good result IMO. Nacho to come in and do the business please!

Popular Post Poiseuille 46 Posted 13 February Popular Post Report Share Posted 13 February Tielemans HAS to sit this one out otherwise he’s another I fear we will lose to injury and we can’t afford that. Kasper Ricardo Amartey Soyuncu Thomas Hamza Mendy Under Perez Barnes Iheanacho Maybe an underwhelming midfield but keep it tight and go at them on the home leg.

We need to keep momentum in the PL and have a great chance in the FA Cup. 14 PL games left and 3 FA Cup games to winning it. We have to play 9 to win EL. Let's forget it and play CL next season. ParkerPen 266 Posted 13 February Report Share Posted 13 February we don't want to underestimate these, or give them a chance by losing the first leg. these are not a mug team we can play just anyone against. strongest side possible, with the exception that Youri really does need a rest as others have said - so yes the midfield will be a bit unbalanced whatever we do
Captain... 7,862 Posted 13 February Report Share Posted 13 February They are dominating in Cechia, but they spanked by Leverkusen in their last EL game and Leverkusen buy our rejects. Don't underestimate, but also don't show them too much respect, get at them and our quality will out, let them get a foothold in the game and start dictating things we could be in for a tough game.

Post Horn Galloper 119 Posted 13 February Report Share Posted 13 February I've always had a soft spot for Slavia and when passing through Prague by way of work in 1997 l went to see their ground (they have now relocated, l think). In the clubhouse a few old guys were having lunch. I remember that on the wall there was a framed programme of a game in the very early 1900s between Slavia and Oxford University (this was a time when teams like Oxford went on tour spreading the game throughout Europe). There was a real feeling of a club whose great years were in the interwar period when the best football in the World was played in Mittel Europa and teams from Czechoslovakia, Australia, Hungary and Switzerland competed for the Microsoft Cup which (often seen as the forerunner of the European Cup). In short, a special club.
