When the season is done they can draft a player from the draft system, which means they don’t even have to work hard anymore.” LEICESTER´S MIRACLE WAS A DISASTER FOR THE PREMIER LEAGUE, WHO HATES UNDERDOGS Certainly, you remember Leicester City’s wonderful triumph in the 2015/16 season. Whether you were a supporter of Arsenal, Tottenham, or another team with hopes of winning the title, you probably felt the same way as most people. It was hard to avoid finding it just a little bit fantastic when Captain Morgan and his teammates lifted the trophy. According to Paul Parker, not everyone feels the same way. He believes that the football association and the Premier League do not want to see a repetition of such stories. “Leicester won the Premier League in 2016. Fantastic. I loved it. You don't know it but subconsciously you tend watch more attentively if a team is playing in a primary colour, hence a neutral would prefer watching Leicester than watching Swansea for example. If both teams are in a primary colour (Man Utd at home to Leicester etc.) the viewing figures rise 10% from the average. When broadcasters are choosing clips to show (good or bad) they will pretty much always make sure one team is in a primary colour to keep you watching. Blue is the most appealing for some reason and the Blue that Leicester and Chelsea wear is a lot more desirable than the blue that Man City wear hence the abundance of clips of us conceding. Most teams wouldn't notice but because we were so bad last season the amount of clips of us conceding almost doubled and now they're all over the sports news channels and I just made all of this up, can't believe you're still reading to be honest, happy Thursday. 3 1 27

Every advert break jingle during the 2016 run in was the Tottenham 'we're coming for you' chant. Not sure why anyone would subscribe to Sky. That's quite interesting, I do tend to notice that Leicester are largely featured in header images in the BBC sport website. I always assumed it was because there was a Leicester fan on the BBC sport team. This might explain it. 2

Yeah classic examples in terms of figures are the media reporting we paid 30m for Perez ( we didn’t ) and the reduced fees for Fofana and Maguire. I’ve heard the Maddison package is more than £40m.

Sadly, and in some cases, for obvious reasons, journalists are judged on the size of their readership not the quality of their work.
